Bar78 powered by Bublina: Bold, Colorful & Responsible

Plastic guys installation in the Bar78 powered by Bublina space

When culture, wine, and circular design meet, a space is created that not only looks good but also carries a deeper meaning. Bar Bublina is living proof. Its subtle yet striking centerpiece is built from Plastic Guys panels – colorful, partially translucent, and 100% recycled.

Visual impact? Strong. Material? Durable. Story? Authentically circular.

12 meters of design made from plastic, given a second life – and a better one.

Plastic guys panels were recommended for the project by the architects, who were looking for something that would work both functionally and visually. The result is a 12-meter-long bar front and worktop made from our recycled panels – defined by their rich inner texture, soft translucency, and eye-catching colors.

Lighting and precise material work helped highlight the design potential on a scale that really shows what these panels are capable of.

“It matters what it’s made of – but also how it looks. Design, texture, translucency, durability… there was no way to say no.”

Jann Horešovský, Bublina bar

Plastic guys were chosen not only for their visual uniqueness, but also for their proven strength, workability, and resistance to wear. The angled 45° joints and seamless panel connections required expert carpentry – delivered without compromise.

Aesthetic first. Sustainability close behind.

The first thing that draws people in is the look. And that’s okay. Sustainability isn’t just a slogan – it’s embedded in the material.

“People usually find out the bar is made from recycled plastic during a conversation,” says Jan. “But the real hook is always the design.”

And that’s how it should be. Because design that doesn’t look good won’t stand a chance. But when it does look good and makes sense – that’s when people pay attention.

An incomparable material – in the best way.

Compared to conventional materials like wood, laminate, or metal, our panels offer a completely different play with light, texture, and visual depth. You don’t just get a surface – you get a story. Every panel is made from plastic that once served another purpose – now reborn for a new one.

And that’s no small thing.

Not just a debut – but a start.

Bar Bublina isn’t a one-time experiment. Plastic guys are becoming a permanent part of projects in gastronomy, retail, and public space. A sustainable material that works – and looks damn good doing it – has a rightful place in modern architecture and design.
