Reception areas and communal hubs in modern offices no longer need to rely on sterile corporate minimalism. In the new Prague offices of TÜV NORD, a generous, open-plan space was created where sustainability, functional ergonomics, and meticulous joinery by Anteria take center stage.
Sustainable Material Tailored to Brand Identity
The objective was to create a clean, luminous interior that feels representative while carrying a distinct sustainable narrative. For this project, we produced panels from recycled plastics sourced from retired refrigerators in our light stone Fridge texture. This tone naturally reflects TÜV NORD’s brand identity, weaving a coherent visual thread throughout the entire floor.

A Unified Material Throughout the Space
Rather than being confined to a single accent piece, the Mínus panels form an integrated, multifunctional ecosystem:
- Central Reception Desk: A striking, organically curved desk welcoming visitors directly upon entry.
- Planter Box & Storage Partition: Seamlessly connected storage units behind the reception topped with lush greenery, delicately dividing the high-traffic zone.
- Connected Kitchenette & Community Bar: An expansive island with bar seating paired with a kitchen splashback designed to endure daily workplace demands.
The curved contours and tight radii on the reception desk and bar island demonstrate the precision with which our panels can be CNC-machined and shaped into complex joinery systems.

Impact in Numbers
A total of 12 large-format panels were utilized for this interior, representing over 700 kg of plastic waste diverted from landfills or incineration and given a durable, premium new life in architecture.
We would like to thank TÜV NORD for their forward-thinking commitment to circular materials, and the team at Anteria for their craftsmanship in bringing these complex details to life.
