A backlit bar wall made from recycled plastic panels
Hotel Bronzo was looking for a material for their new interior that would be visually striking, high-quality and sustainable. They learned about Plastic Guys through a recommendation — and sustainability was the main reason they chose to work with our panels.
A luminous bar feature made with our Onyx texture
For the café and bar area, we created a backlit wall using our transparent Onyx panels.
Thanks to their soft shine and structured surface, the panels beautifully diffuse light and create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Combined with glass, bottles and minimalist wooden shelving, the result is a clean, elegant and modern aesthetic.
What impressed the client most?
Monika Svobodová from Hotel Bronzo highlighted especially the sustainability, the unique texture, and the option to create an original visual effect.
She also noted that the material combines perfectly with other interior elements.
How visitors react
Interestingly, most guests don’t even recognise that the wall is made from recycled plastic — they simply see an aesthetic feature.
Only later comes the surprise: the elegant backlit panel is actually made from what was once waste. And that’s exactly what we aim for: when sustainability meets good design, compromise is no longer needed.
Working with the material
Since an external contractor handled the installation, the client couldn’t directly evaluate the processing.
However, the final result shows that the panels fully met all functional and design expectations.
Sustainability as a standard
Hotel Bronzo considers ecology and circularity an essential part of their projects. According to Svobodová, sustainability plays a “significant role”, which is why cooperation with Plastic Guys felt natural.
Looking ahead
As she notes: “If there’s another opportunity, we’ll be happy to use the material again.”
